The Bakery Building
The building that The Venue at The Bakery Building calls home is a place of historic distinction and urban industrial chic.
Built in 1926 by beloved “Dad” and “Mother Matt” Mattingly, the building was lauded as a shining example of a modern bakery and continued to bake wholesome goodness for the Hub City throughout the glory years of the American 20th Century.
Embedded in the brick and steel of this Downtown Hattiesburg landmark is the timeless integrity of an indomitable character that continually shines as a modern classic. Or, to put it another way, The Venue at The Bakery Building is the best thing since sliced bread!
